[Hajime awakes by a stream. And so he does the natural thing when faced with such a confusing discovery. He starts talking to the water. For a while he stays in deep conversation with it.

Eventually, he stands up and starts following the stream into the village. Of course, the water can only take him so far. ONce he actually reaches the village, he stops to look around.]

Okay... now what?

[Voice]

[Some time later, after the initial confusion fades, he turns his attention to the journal and everything it offers.]

I... guess I'm supposed to say hi to everyone on this? I'm Hajime. I don't usually have wings. Or talk to books.

Has this been happening for a long time?

It's been happening even longer than I've been here, and that's about five and a half years now. That's only in this enclosure, though. I'm not sure how long it's been happening in the rest of the world.

[He's having a hard time even getting his head around that much time]

That's longer than Shin's been alive.

[Voice]

Shin? Is that a friend of yours?

[Emil really, really hopes that this friend isn't here in Luceti too, because he always feels bad when young kids show up here.]

[Voice]

My best friend in the whole world at home. He's not here. It's good, he's just little.

[Voice]

That is good. You sound like you're grown-up enough to be able to take care of yourself.
